Minnesota is on a Hot-Streak!

Minnesota is in the midst of blazing a new trail in converting the light of day into consumable power! The state multiplied its solar energy magnitude through the first portion of this year. According to the Minnesota Department of Commerce, it has elevated solar productivity twelve-fold since 2015.
Let's follow Minnesota's example!

The greater part of that energy has been managed by state utility Xcel, including the 100-megawatt North Star and Aurora Solar projects. Minnesota still staggers in overall wattage, on the heels of industry leaders like California, North Carolina, and Arizona, the Gopher State is the hub of a populace centered examination: district wide solar! where numerous consumers can sign-up to a single system — entitled: solar garden — to divide costs and deflect the struggle of individually possessing housing panels.

What’s even more intriguing, is there are 478 endorsed community solar proposals under construction — acceptable for close to another 500 megawatts — and roughly 1,000 total in the works. In context, at the end of the previous year, only 120 megawatts were present in the local solar programs throughout the country. Twelve states and Washington D.C. have sanctioned distribution strategies like these! What's unfortunate is that most states have toiled to breathe life into them. Prime places like California (where only 15 corporations made a request for them and zero were welcomed as of April.) and Colorado (which holds 28 district programs, but a meager 16 megawatts were initiated).

To Bring this home - We have a Cold North Midwestern State like Minnesota, showing up locations that are better known for Envied Sunlight. Washington D.C. of all places has already pieced together many proposals to encourage Solar but many people are refusing to move forward!
Individuals are really taking advantage of the fact that it's a "Solar Option." What people fail to understand is that if we as a nation continue to disregard these wonderful alternative energy strategies, These "Options" will quickly turn to "necessities."
Keep this in the forefront of your mind when you consider "Solar Options"

Let's all follow The Gopher States Lead and take full advantage of these proposals!
