Solar Project Emerging in Navajo Nation

The Navajos within the town of Kayenta are striving to incorporate clean energy into their daily lives. By 2019, the coal power plant will be shut down and replaced with an alternative energy source.
Salt River Project worked out an agreement with the town regarding a loan for the construction of the plant since it involved renewable sources of energy.

This Movement is Far reaching!


When reading this article, I believe it removes any excuse small towns or backwoods areas may have. Kayenta is a rural area of Arizona. If a location that is often looked upon as "delayed" or "disorganized" is making efforts in harnessing renewable energy, what's your malfunction?
